I think I grew a third boob. Literally. I have a cyst (it may just be staph, but DAMN this hurts!) located under my right one. I've been out of it all weekend (and the weekend I was with the man, darn...), can't eat again (there goes another 10 pounds), and the ER won't cut this thing open yet. The cyst grew in over a day, and is now big enough to fit comfortably in the palm of my hand. I can't wear bras (liberating, LOL).

I'm hoping it's nothing serious, I hit a record going 3 weeks without missing work. But I'm a bit scared. BF has been a good male nurse, though. He's sleeping at the moment, on his belly. I have a good view of his butt. Nice...good distraction...

Are you sure it's a cyst and not a hematoma? Did the doc say it was a cyst?

I got the crappy doc the last time I went...she just felt it and told me it wasn't time to lance it yet. I think it's a cyst, because I had one on the left that looked the same, but much smaller, and it went away much more quickly.

I'm going back to the ER tomorrow...hopefully they'll lance it...finally.

Have they thought about draining it? If it's a cyst, that might be an option.
