This is from Meet Joe Black.

And yes, I'm aware that I'm disturbed. :-)

I'm not sure that disturbed is quite harsh enough of a word....:)

I recall seeing that scene from Joe Black and it was rather unexpected. There was a nasty scene in Dreamcatcher where a man was hit by a bus that was pretty gruesome, also.

Here's one of my favorite movie clips of all time:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cmyb6rlH88M

(Yes, I know that the movie itself was dumb. Yes, I know that it's totally cheesy. Yes, I know that it's unrealistic. Yes, I know that it's computer-generated. You don't need to point any of those facts out to me.

But I'll be damned if it isn't one of the coolest looking clips ever.)

Great thread idea! I haven't watched any of the others yet, as I'm off to bed. But I thought I'd quickly share, what I think, is the funniest clip EVER!

Never laughed so hard and so long in my life.

I'll check out all the others in the morning.

Who can forget the Burly Brawl from The Matrix Reloaded, one of the best fight scenes ever filmed? Here's a clip with all the pauses edited out:
