Not the fruit, but the devices. In a high profile meeting between Mexican and American diplomats. Before meeting with President Bush, everyone was required to leave there cell phones/blackberries on the table. One Mexican diplomat stayed behind and stole 6 or 7 blackberries belonging to Americans.
The Secret Service looked at video, made a DVD and ran to grab the guy before he left the country. It caught up to him at the airport. The Mexican denied taking the blackberries. The Secret Service showed the video, and the Mexican suddenly remembered and claimed it was a mistake. He gave them the stolen blackberries, claimed diplomatic immunity and fled the country.
