I believe you went but I don't believe you enjoyed it. I believe you like the idea of liking it.

Hey. I went to a different church this evening. I hate this so much. Why can't God just tell me? It scared me so much I was screaming words from the Book of Mormon in my head I wanted to leave I wanted God to get me out of there. They were doing things that scared me. The preacher dude said he was letting God speak through him and he said God wants someone in the room to know something and what he said happened to this person happened to me. These things very personal. People put their hands on others shoulders and their bodies were shaking. I was so scared. I screamed to God in my head. I am still scared and crying. Why did I go there? I am now even more confused. The power in the room was so strong. How do I know what is true?
I did like church today. I did miss church and the first thing I did tonight was read the Book of Mormon. I do not believe I have a testimony but I have never clutched my Scriptures so tight. I read from the Book of Mormon over the music. I shouted it. I felt it was my boyancy aid it was all I had of familiarity. Eventually I just left the room and cried in the bathroom. I was like Oh My Gosh, what have I done. My friend whom I went with said that others felt scared the first time also but they wanted to learn. I just kept thinking it was evil. But then my friend talked to me and I talked with the dude that said that thing and now I am more confused. Why am I so easily swayed? I feel as though I am pulled back and forth in a storm on the ocean. My ship isn't steady.

It was a Christian church. (Mainstream, aimed at young adults/teenagers). I was talking to my mum about it. She sad they were probably high on belief that it is true. That the guys could have been shaking from adrenalin because of the rock music at the start and they were just full of belief and energy. She said that anything you belief to be true will have the affect of being true and things will happen because of that. She said if they believe it is God they are talking to and the power of God then it won't be Satan.

It was intended as a joke about where you went to church, but you posted before I did.
“I was hooked from the start,” Snoop Dogg said. “We talked about the purpose of life, played Mousetrap, and ate brownies. The kids thought it was off the hook, for real.”

Mainstream? I don't think so. Did you see or hear the words Pentecostal or Charismatic?
