May 1st and snowing (weather status report)

I'd just like to report (and whine) that it's May 1st and snowing at my house. This unkind insult and dashing of springtime hopes by nature is not received well on my end! While reading about other posters planting their flowers (Moniker being the main offender) I am forced to clear snow. This is decidedly UNFAIR!

I mean, what are we supposed to do around here? Dance around the May pole in our snow boots?

Normal people are planting flower beds right now. Is this nature's way of telling us that we are not among the elect, abnormal and deserve to freeze in May? Has fate arranged it so that some of us ended up in climates where we are forced to live in snowball hell for what seems like eternity and suffer from chronic cases of cabin fever?

Okay, I get it. Some people get flowers and the Jersey Girl gets a snow shovel.

Yep. It's dumping snow here (Boulder) this morning. Big flakes. Luckily I only have to drive 1/2 mile to get to work. It was 80 degrees yesterday. Awesome.

I think you get similar weather to what I have here. Say, how's the weather today up there? I have a trucker friend driving through SLC area right now.
