A Beautiful Mind about John Nash by Sylvia Nasar. I really wish I understood Mathematics so I could understand the first half of the book, but it's very good.

My wife recommends Escape by Carolyn Jessop. Just remember that these people werent Mormons. They were scumbag apostates.
The last one I read was Porter Rockwell: A Biography by Richard Lloyd Dewey
Porter Rockwells life was incredible. You could pick 5 years out of any section of his life and make a great movie about it.

Too bad no Mormons would be able to see it. R rated movies are a nono Gaz.

If they could so easily Disney-ify Emma's and Joseph's lives, I am sure they can find a way to do it with Porter's. All it requires is to omit much of the truth and replace is with mawkish sentiment.

I enjoyed this one when I read it. From what I recall (it was almost 6 years ago when I read it), Dewey had a habit of imagining Rockwell into quite a few situations. He did give a pretty good overview of the Utah War though.
All in all, I prefer Schindler's biography on Rockwell over Dewey's. Both are worth reading though as Dewey (again, If I recall correctly) did help provide evidence that casts doubt on a few murders that Schindler attributed to Rockwell.

Although I haven't read it yet (it is sitting on my shelf under a large pile of other books I need to get to), I have heard fairly good things about Bitton's biography on George Q. Cannon.
