Although some questions will be left unanswered it will be very clear what these mss are not.

What? Not legitimate translations?

I've also ruled out that they are a menu from either Denny's OR Cracker Barrel. Any others?

Chipotle is out, too.

I cannot rule out that the mss are the menu from Number 1 Kitchen, a hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurant not far from my house.

We ate there last week, and after ordering from the menu, nothing was as we thought it would be. Obviously, we weren't supposed to translate directly from the menu, but were supposed to rely upon revelation to order our supper.

Wow. So your child stands up and declares that the fare at the Chinese restaurant was somehow equal to fecal matter. How not even mildly interesting is that?

Actually, she said it from her seat.

And no, it's not even mildly interesting, but Madeline was correct. The food was really gross. We get a kick out of calling Number 1 Kitchen the Number 2 Kitchen. My family is strange like that.

I'm basically a stay-at-home mom to four girls, so my life is a revolving cycle of cooking and cleaning and laundry and carpools and sleepovers, so I have to look for humor where I can find it. My kids are my entertainment. I realize they're not always entertaining to others.

I'll delete the story about Madeline. Not because it's not interesting--if everything "not even mildly interesting" was deleted from this board, not much would be left--but because it is a bit gross and probably doesn't belong in this thread.

First off: The Madeline story was hilarious. Your kids seem rad, KA.

Second off: dump, dumpage, deuce, poop, poo-poo, crap, crap, feces, ass, balls, etc. are all words I would use to describe nasty food. My vocabulary is expansive in this regard.

I think you're rad, Silentkid! Your movie reviews are rad, too. I'd post comments on your blog, but I'm afraid of native minnow.
