In today's entry in my weblog (for August 04, 1990), I tell how I commit my first major sin as a missionary. I won't ruin the surprise by posting about it here.
Anyway, now I'm curious about what, if anything, was going through Shoko's mind. Therefore, I'd like to get a woman's perspective:
To all the women reading this, do you think what she did was completely and totally innocent, or was I right to read something more into it? Also, would you have done what she did? Why or why not?

I was expecting something mroe shock horror, missionaries have done far worse in the UK, there was a woman in my home town in Sland that ended up having a baby with all the missionaries she would sleep with, but apparently she was a hottie. I have heard of missionaries playing twister with young girls.

I had to chuckle when I read your first "major" sin. In my first area, I was watching tv, movies (including R-rated), listening to "worldly" music, masturbating, and sleeping in. In my second area, I was doing all of the above plus skipping church. In my third area, I broke the word of wisdom, partook of pornographic goodness, gambled, and had phone sex with my ex back home. In my fourth and final area, I got tattooed and got sent home - ten months early.

I see nothing wrong with the holding hands thing. The flirty squeeze thing was a touch bad, but you sound like you were being good overall.
