They seem to be working just fine for me:
Anyway, type [ img ] in front of your picture's URL (without the spaces) and [ /img ] at the end of your picture's URL (again, without the spaces).
For example, typing the following, without the spaces:
[ img ]http://www.mormoninformation.com/2oka22_2.JPG[ /img ]
. . . gave me the above image.
