I saw Bill Maher's Religulous on Sunday, and good God, my abs are still sore. I seriously haven't laughed so hard at a movie since Grandma's Boy.
I strongly recommend this movie to everyone, it is funny enough that you don't have to be an atheist to enjoy it.
Mormon's aren't going to like it, at least one part at least, and I can already see the complaints of unfairness and bias coming; "He only interviewed an anti-Mormon (Tal Bachman) and showed clips of the Godmakers."
But I can't say this enough, this movie was easily the funniest movie I have seen all year.
The only other movie I've seen recently that I would recommend is Burn After Reading. Brilliant, and also very funny.

Yeah, I've read a couple reviews of it so far, and both have been positive. I'm sure I'll love it.

Jeff Vice of the Deseret News is my favorite movie critic. I like how
he goes into excurciating detail about why a movie gets its rating. He says,
"Religulous" is rated R for some disturbing violent imagery (war footage and crucifixion re-creations); strong sexual language (profanity, slang and other suggestive talk); drug content and references (marijuana and other hallucinogens); derogatory language, including slurs based on sexual preference; brief sexual contact (clips from so-called "adult films"); and brief male and female nudity. Running time: 101 minutes.
Even though he doesn't say anything positive about the movie, he gives it two stars. I'm guessing that with Jeff, every comedy without flatulence jokes automatically gets at least two stars.

This movie was made for idiots like Schmo and GoodK.
Nobody with a brain takes it seriously.

Umberto Eco in `Foucault's Pendulum` wrote:"...
Like Cagliostro," I joked. "Wasn't he the one who was heard to murmur to his attendant as they passed a crucifix, 'I told that Jew to be careful that evening, but he just wouldn't listen'?
