There is barely any uproar at all here. What do you think the reaction would be if the effigy hanging by a noose were Obama, a black man, amidst all the Halloween decorations?

I think that the Sarah Palin incident you are referring to, BC, is an outrage. I don't understand how people can think that kind of thing is humorous. That is definitely crossing the line, in my opinion. It would be crossing the line if it involved Obama as well.

I think women, by far, have been abused and murdered in numbers that far exceed that of black men vis a vis lynching.

If someone had done that to Barack Obama McCain would have gone to the home and asked them to remove it.
