Is it any wonder that antiMormons and apostates within and without the Church break for Obama and the Democrats?

I ended up voting for Obama, despite some of the baggage that goes along with that. I personally like McCain, but I couldn't deal with the baggage that he brought with him this time around.
I am worried about what a Democratic president might do with a Democratic House and Senate, especially if the Senate gets a filibuster-proof 60-vote majority, in terms of gun control laws. I'm not in favor of gun control. I can only hope that the Democrats remember what happened in the mid 90s, when their efforts to pass gun control legislation helped lead to the Republicans sweeping them out of office in 1994. I hope the Democrats are very, very cautious about trying to bring it up again.

From a moral (LDS) and constitutional standpoint, it doesn't make any sense to vote for Obama or any Democrat when there are a couple of Supreme Court Justices who could keel over at any minute (and will probably retire anyway if Obama is elected).

"Democrat" is part of your handy antiMormon/apostate definition. So from you this is like asking "Is it any wonder that canines are mammals?" Well no kidding BCSpace!
I voted for Obama and every other Democrat on the list because I am not just an apostate, but a satanist.

I'll admit I didn't know anything about most of the people running for the local and county offices, so I voted for some Democrats, and for some Republicans, just to keep things even. Even in the case of my US House member, I don't really know anything about the incumbent or the candidates running against him, so I voted to keep the Republican guy in, because I figure Obama and the Democrats are going to make some gains, but the Republicans can't be totally wiped out, since that would give the Democrats absolute power, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.
I voted NO on Prop 102, the Arizona version of the anti-gay marriage ban.
