Facts:
1 Democrats: the party of the poor.
2 Republicans: the party of the rich.
3 Poor people want to be rich.
4 Democrats don't want people to become Republicans
Conclusions:
5 The poor want to be Republicans. (2,3)
6 Democrats don't want poor people to become rich.(1,4,5)
7 Democrats not for the rich or poor (2,3,4,5,6)
It really is as simple as that.

Ironically, I know more poor conservative Republicans than wealthy ones. Huh. Strange that.

That's pretty idiotic.
Poor people want to be rich eh?
Some folks think I'm rich, but I'm not. I suppose if I had that kind of ambition, I could do what most millionaires did and gamble their wealth in real estate speculation or the stock market. If I make it big, it will have little to do with hard work and mostly to do with dumb luck. But maybe I'm just a different breed. I've never once played the lottery, so maybe that says something.
In any event, I'm content to make a decent living and be happy with my family. I have no ambitions of "striking it rich" and I doubt most poor Americans do either.. Most of them understand their situation and have no delusions about becoming millionaires. The only politicians who come close to giving a damn about them are the Democrats, though not all.
