She'd be a step up from Palin intellectually but c'mon...are the old white men of the Republican party going to vote for another one of...and a woman to boot? Not to mention she was a major part of Bush's disastrous foreign policy.

She was not even close until she went to Utah recently and gave a speech which was the best speech of the retreat. She got standing ovations. She was the talk of the retreat.

Not even close to whom? Every time I've seen one of those "who do you want for VP" polls on a conservative blog, she's been in the top five. She polls higher in likability than most of the people being talked about for VP.

Her popularity aside, it won't happen. Condi herself has been saying for years that she has zero interest whatsoever in running for an elected office. She's also one of the most visible figures from the Bush administration, and Romney isn't going to want to give Obama any more chances to associate him with Bush.
