Another non issue the Democrats are hiding behind because they can't run on the issues. However, if I were Romney, I wouldn't use the tithing excuse. I would question the very premise of the expectation having to release more tax returns starting with the fact that many calling for them have themselves, being in public office, not released their tax returns either.

In any case, Romney is winning this issue and widening his lead by merely playing defense. If he gives in, the Democrats can control, the conversation till the end. If he stands pat, the Democrats look more and more foolish and incompetent.

Can they now tell the bishop when asked to come in for a tithing audit " that's between Me and God , not Me ,You and God"


They can say anything they want. But the only thing that will be set is the fact they won't be eligible for a TR.
