Free agent team based on ESPN's list of unsigned free agents on their Free-agent tracker page as of 5/20/13. Starters and depth based on ESPN's grades which are the numbers next to each name. A little more than a 53-man roster shown as the positional mix of an actual team will vary. For example, many teams no longer have much use for Fullbacks, players in the O-Line (and D-Line) are often interchangeable, a team might play a 3-4 or a 4-3 defense. Etc.

But what if this was an actual team? How do you think this team would do against other NFL teams and divisions? How are the various positions as a whole (O-Line, D-Line, Linebacker corps, etc.)? What would your team look like based on available free agents? Freeney would be here, but he just got signed by the Chargers.

As someone with experience coaching football, I'd say it is highly plausible and something I'd love to see. The one thing you can never predict about a team is the chemistry that occurs between any group of players. That's more important that worrying about having the highest paid player at every position.

Me too. I think this group with good coaching would not be a basement team.

Urlacher is out...of football completely:

Too bad as he was the anchor of my free agent team defense. In real life, I think he would have ultimately been satisfied with the 2 million offered so he could have a chance to go out on a better note unless that MCL was acting up.

Woodson returns to the Raiders:

Tough losses for the linebacker and safety corps of the free agent team.
