On top of that, liberals don't understand economics in any micro or macro fashion. Rises in costs lead to a rise in price. It's a vicious circle and the only way to take advantage is to be at the margin, the delay between a cost increase and the ripple-effect rise in price. Otherwise, raising wages without increasing real production and consumption have no effect.

If only we could get a liberal or two to read Economics by Paul Samuelson.

better to read Economics in One Lesson, by Henry Hazlett, followed by Basic Economics, by Thomas Sowell, followed by Human Action and then The Anti-Capitalist Mentality, by Ludwig Von Mises. Friedman's Capitalism and Freedom and Free to Choose are also excellent.

Somewhere in here, one must read and understand Government and The Law, by Frédéric Bastiat.

Also required reading would be George Reisman's magnum opus Capitalism. I haven't read it yet, but in pursuing parts of it in my own copy, it looks to be a foundational text.

Do liberals even read? Any language but Newspeak?
