My thoughts as well. I guess some people feel stabbing someone doesn't quite send the full message intended. That, or shocking someone with a Taser didn't already carry sufficient odds of "accidently" killing someone.

I'm pretty sure the number of choices for the user are the same. Attached taser or not, once you've pulled out a knife you've shown intent to use the blade part with or without the zapping.
