The President's new communications director has an interesting take on the word transparent:
So transparency doesn't mean that you are being transparent. It means that you are being transparent about covering your tracks. Scaramucci has said a lot of thing in the past about Trump that he doesn't want to be reminded about anymore. Rather than being reminded, he'll simply delete the tweets and call it transparency.
It would be like Trump saying he was being very transparent with the public about his finances by telling everyone up front that he was not going to release his taxes.
What a wonderful world it is where an adult in a position of responsibility can completely changed their views about something without offering a logical explanation as to why they did, and they call it transparency!
What happened to the part of Scaramucci who voiced concern about climate change and gun control? We'll never know, because he deleted that part of the record in order to be transparent.
Welcome to newspeak.
