I believe that each of us are doing the best we can based on our subjective ideas of what constitutes “best.” Still, I see a tendency in myself and others to get kind of stuck in comfortable habits while opportunities to improve conditions are missed. It requires some reaching out into the unknown - or unfamiliar to test ourselves to really see what we’ve got, what we’re made of.

Jordan Peterson expanded on this idea (in link below) & quoted Carl Jung: ”Modern people didn’t see God because they didn’t look low enough.” We are not perfect & our societies and surroundings are not perfect- and thus the never-ending challenge to improve ourselves and this world - as much as we can - and only time will tell how much that is!

There are 3 principles I defend:

1. In a world of such abundance, it is ridiculously shameful that almost 1/7 of the world’s population are “chronically hungry.” Tithes (at least 1/3) should go to those in need.

2. Rights are given by our creator - and children (developing humans) should not be denied the right to life. Yet in abortion, these children are killed in horrible ways - like being ripped apart limb by limb when their central nervous system is intact by 8 weeks gestation - so many can feel such horrific pain!

3. Homosexuality and “same sex marriage” involve lies that are hurting many, especially children. Before homosexuals bullied their way into the legal system and apa, confusing your child with transgender clothes or hormones was illegal child abuse. Homosexual advocates have stated clearly their goal of “sodomizing your sons.” Homosexuality statistically proves to involve high rates of STDs, AIDS/HIV and mental illness, besides complications of anal sex risks. Yet homosexual liars would try to fool you into thinking it’s nothing but “gay rainbows.”

Ah yes. Gay mind control! The conspiracy invented by anti-gay bigots.

Kirk and Madsen -- a couple of evil gay geniuses who manipulated an entire country into... into.... into... recognizing gay folks as fellow humans and treating them accordingly. The evil bastards!!

How influential were these guys? Well, they wrote an article and book. Although did obtain a bachelors and masters degrees in psychology from Harvard. His thesis was, I believe, on the testing of gifted children. According to wikipedia, he worked as a genealogist. He has no articles published on neuropsychiatry, although anti-gay web sites portray him as a neuropsychology researcher to make him sound scary. Madsen got an undergraduate degree in sociology and later got a marketing gig. He's so influential that he doesn't even have a wiki page. Wow, some pair of master, manipulative, evil geniuses.

It's likely no one would even remember this book except that the Christian Right got ahold of it and turned it into a gay boogeyman. When you hit the google, you don't find lots of gay folks discussing the book and references to adopting the strategies recommended in the book (which, by the way, including coming out of the closet and showing the public that they are just regular folks). No, what you find are Christian gay haters using the book to claim that the evil homosexuals brainwashed the entire country. It's nonsense. And it's malicious nonsense designed to whip up hatred against gay folks. It's literally homophobia -- propaganda used by haters like Amore to demonize their fellow humans.
