Lindsey Graham, Paul Ryan and Jeff Flake have all issued (or Tweeted, rather) some pretty harsh statements on this. They are all probably “establishment” though, so… meh.

ETA:

Paul Ryan: https://www.speaker.gov/press-release/statement-russia
There is no question that Russia interfered in our election and continues attempts to undermine democracy here and around the world. That is not just the finding of the American intelligence community but also the House Committee on Intelligence. The president must appreciate that Russia is not our ally. There is no moral equivalence between the United States and Russia, which remains hostile to our most basic values and ideals. The United States must be focused on holding Russia accountable and putting an end to its vile attacks on democracy.

Lindsey Graham: https://Twitter.com/LindseyGrahamSC/sta ... 8510119942
Missed opportunity by President Trump to firmly hold Russia accountable for 2016 meddling and deliver a strong warning regarding future elections. This answer by President Trump will be seen by Russia as a sign of weakness and create far more problems than it solves.

Jeff Flake: https://Twitter.com/JeffFlake/status/10 ... 8654976000
I never thought I would see the day when our American President would stand on the stage with the Russian President and place blame on the United States for Russian aggression. This is shameful.

If Republican "patriots" in Congress really believed their own BS in condemning Trump here, then they'd actually do something. Try to force Trumps hand, threaten to withhold a vote on his the Supreme Court pick until he condemns Putin, takes action on the cyber attacks, etc. This is what they do all the time, but they won't. They'll just keep offering lip service.

Why does it seem like the Obama faithful suddenly want Mitt's foreign policy back?
Image
"The 1980s are now calling to ask for their foreign policy back, because the Cold War's been over for 20 years," Obama quipped
https://www.mrctv.org/videos/fnc-shows- ... olicy-back

When Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney called Russia "our No. 1 geopolitical foe" in 2012, the Obama administration and liberal media members jumped on the remarks as "antiquated," "dumb," and proof positive of his "Cold War mind warp."
http://freebeacon.com/national-security ... -the-tape/

Biden attacked the former Massachusetts governor for being “one of a small group of Cold War holdovers,” for naming Russia as a major threat to the United States and at times referring to Soviets.
https://www.politico.com/story/2012/04/ ... icy-075653

“Mitt Romney talks like he’s only seen Russia by watching ‘Rocky IV,’” -John Kerry.
https://blogs.wsj.com/washwire/2012/09/ ... cy-record/

“Two decades after the end of the cold war, Mitt Romney still considers Russia to be America’s ‘No. 1 geopolitical foe.’ His comments display either a shocking lack of knowledge about international affairs or just craven politics. Either way, they are reckless and unworthy of a major presidential contender.”
NYT March 2016.
https://www.nytimes.com/2012/03/29/opin ... d-war.html

Columnist Cynthia Tucker called Romney's comment "dumb,"
Huffington Post reporter Sam Stein referred to it as "antiquated."
MSNBC host Chris Matthews pondered aloud what decade Romney was living in...
Andrea Mitchell dismissed it as a "throwback to the Cold War."

Yep, the Dem/Libs have about zero credibility on this issue and are doing nothing more than preaching to the choir and keeping the collection plate passed around. It is amusing however that the Democrats are trying to make hay with "See, the Republicans were correct!".

Lol. Apparently Putin now just shoves his arm up Trump’s ass and works his jaws like a marionette.

It seems their patriotism falls short of their desire to get conservative justices from Trump. The same thing could be said of millions of Americans, unfortunately.

yabut, yabut, yabut . . . .

Whatabout, whatabout, whatabout . . . .

subbie,

Are you agreeing with Obama?

If you could replace Trump with Mitt, would you?

Other than your usual whataboutism, what is your effing point?

Subbie brings up a good point. Why do many of those who agreed with Romney in 2012, disagree with him today? What has Russia done in the past 6 years to change their opinion?
