What has me perplexed is the return address.

Wasserman Schultz doesn’t exactly measure up to the other high profile symbols of demonic democrats. Or maybe I'm just more out of touch than I think.

Yeah, I wondered about the Wasserman Schultz thing myself. Makes me wonder if it's a Bernie turned Drumpf voter.

And again, what is the motivation to kill these people? They have no governing power!!

This is just mindless hate. I wonder what could have caused that?

Almost all of my (online) friends who support the current president are saying that this is a false flag operation.

I have to admit that it isn’t outside of the realm of left-wing extremist nuttery.

Conversely though, there isn’t exactly a shortage of examples of right wing extremists targeting Obama (and others) over the last few decades. The actual extremist to false flag ratio tends to tip the probability scale to the former.

We’re kind of reaching a point where the two are sometimes hard to distinguish in their actions though.

So in that scenario, the packages were meant to be intercepted, I guess?

I wonder if this is in any way related to the mailing of a bomb to Soros earlier this week.

I'm probably more surprised this kind of thing doesn't happen more often, which doesn't exactly speak well to the current political climate...

Weirdly, I agree, which is sad. We are both surprised there isn't more domestic terrorism.

McVeigh and then the Patriot Act stemmed that tide. Domestic terrorists and "militias" ran home after 9/11....these young ones though.

Please remember - if the guy who sent these is a white Christian, he probably isn't a terrorist, he's mentally ill.

And it's not just the nutty online friends. Right wing media is picking up on that theme as well.
