Mueller Wants the FBI to Look at a Scheme to Discredit Him

I'm genuinely surprised KG hasn't linked and ran this article:
https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/ar ... bi/574411/A company that appears to be run by a pro-Trump conspiracy theorist offered to pay women to make false claims against Special Counsel Robert Mueller in the days leading up to the midterm elections—and the special counsel’s office has asked the FBI to weigh in. “When we learned last week of allegations that women were offered money to make false claims about the Special Counsel, we immediately referred the matter to the FBI for investigation,” the Mueller spokesman Peter Carr told me in an email on Tuesday.
I don't know if the guy has any direct or indirect ties to Trump or his people, but this is REALLY interesting stuff. I hope this story gains traction because inquiring minds want to know.

I started a thread on this a full 13 minutes before you.You don't know who Jacob Wohl is? You're both lucky and unfortunate if that is the case. When I saw this news break, before it kept getting funnier and funnier, I figured Popehat was going to have a field day.

I remember right after the election several of us were comparing our new horrifying reality to movies. I went with 2016 being cross between Being There and Idiocracy with a touch of Running Man. It was a mistake not to include some Burn After Reading.
