Google search results for “Trump News” shows only the viewing/reporting of Fake News Media. In other words, they have it RIGGED, for me & others, so that almost all stories & news is BAD. Fake CNN is prominent. Republican/Conservative & Fair Media is shut out. Illegal? 96% of....
....results on “Trump News” are from National Left-Wing Media, very dangerous. Google & others are suppressing voices of Conservatives and hiding information and news that is good. They are controlling what we can & cannot see. This is a very serious situation-will be addressed!
Will Sommer The Google hearing has kicked off! A GOP congressman is grilling Google's CEO over a PJ Media "study" that proves Google favors liberal search results. The whole study is based on this chart from notorious kook Sharyl Attkisson. 10:56 AM - Dec 11, 2018
The highlights from the Congressional hearing on Google were so moronic it sunk beneath my already cynically low expectations. Hearing supposedly respectable public figures be that dumb causes me physical pain.
This is all about attempting to work the refs, which conservatives have done to spectacular success with news media, in an effort to scare tech giants into modifying algorithms and policies to game the system for conservatives. But it was done with such stupidity my head was buzzing.
I just googled "Trump news" and the very first result was from Fox News. Trump lies again. What a shocker.

Not really.
Adult film star Stormy Daniels must pay President Trump $293,000 in legal fees, a judge ruled on Tuesday.
"The U.S. District Court today ordered Stormy Daniels (real name Stephanie Clifford) to pay President Trump $292,052.33 to reimburse his attorneys’ fees (75% of his total legal bill), plus an additional $1,000 in sanctions to punish Daniels for having filed a meritless lawsuit against the President designed to chill his free speech rights," Charles J. Harder, the president's legal counsel, said in a statement.
Trump's problem is that reality really does have a liberal bias. If google's algorithms really are designed to preferentially ferret out the truth, it is well nigh inevitable that a majority of the stories about Trump will show him in a negative light, because he is so pathologically dishonest and openly corrupt. If any story about Trump and his administration is unfavorable to him or his agenda, he automatically shouts "fake news!" whether it is true or not. This is so well known by now that anything he calls "fake news" is at least as likely to be true as not, and therefore worth closer, critical evaluation.
No precept or claim is more likely to be false than one that can only be supported by invoking the claim of Divine authority for it--no matter who or what claims such authority.

Did i miss the part where Google has an legal/moral obligation to provide fair/balanced search results? The search engine business (ehem, business) is not an exploitative monopoly, correct?

Well, don’t stop there. Please provide the legal definition of moral and fair for search results from Google, and the criteria for ranking. Include, as example, things that you might personally want to believe in but that are generally seen as junk, such as conspiracy theories about Hillary Clinton running a child pedophile ring out of the basement of a pizza parlor.

Absolutely right. For every liberal globe shown by Google Maps, a conservative flat earth projection should be offered - complete with the warning "thar be dragons!"
