Well, it could take some time for them to get here, so it’ll be better to smoke the meat, anyway.

This is the most frustrating thing about any kind of SETI project. By the time we've received the radio signal, the civilization that sent it will probably be long gone, and if we send a response we may not be here when they receive our signal.

Something has to be done about telephone service in deep space.

But there is a high probability that alien probes exists somewhere in solar system.
