Republican Party has Always been Against the Working Class

It has always been the party for the wealthy and these responses to 800,000 workers going without pay to satisfy a billionaire man-baby's need for a trophy, pretty much proves it.
1. Commerce Secretary and billionaire Wilbur Ross says he doesn't understand why federal workers are going to homeless shelters and food banks to get food. He comes close to calling them all liars and/or stupid for doing so because he thinks they should be able to have money saved and/or be able to get a loan.
2. Kudlow: Federal workers impacted by shutdown are ‘volunteering’ in part due to ‘allegiance’ to Trump
3. ‘Boneheaded’: Steve Cortes turns on Trump for showing no sympathy for furloughed workers
4. Lara Trump tells federal workers that their missed paychecks are sacrifices for the ‘future of our country’
5. Trump: 'I don’t care' that most federal employees working without pay 'are Democrats'

2. Kudlow: Federal workers impacted by shutdown are ‘volunteering’ in part due to ‘allegiance’ to Trump
"They honor us and they do it because of their love for their country and the office of the presidency and presumably their allegiance to President Trump," National Economic Council Director Larry Kudlow said while speaking to reporters at the White House briefing room. "They’re doing it. Give them some credit. There are a lot of wonderful people in this country."
"They’re volunteering," Kudlow reportedly said. "But they do it because they believe government service is honorable and they believe in Trump and they’re working as hard as ever.”
A reporter replied by questioning Kudlow's take on volunteering, saying that it's "not volunteering if you're being forced to work without pay."
Kudlow responded by accusing the journalist of trying to play a "semantic game."
3. ‘Boneheaded’: Steve Cortes turns on Trump for showing no sympathy for furloughed workers
On Thursday, President Donald Trump echoed Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross’ comments about the government shutdown. Ross said that furloughed government workers should get a loan. While talking to reporters, the president said that grocery stores and people not getting paid will work together.
Trump’s former aide Steve Cortes told CNN’s Erin Burnett that it was a “boneheaded” comment.
“Is this pattern a problem, Steve?” Burnett asked.
“I normally strenuously advocate for this administration on your show, but I’ll also admit when something is boneheaded and this clearly is,” he said.
“I’m somebody in the business of political messaging and a very good rule of thumb is don’t sound like Montgomery Burns from The Simpsons and that really is who Wilbur Ross sounded like today. This is a really serious issue. A lot of people are hurting and they’re hurting terribly and not a little bit,” he said.
4. Lara Trump tells federal workers that their missed paychecks are sacrifices for the ‘future of our country’
“It’s not fair to you, and we all get that, but this is so much bigger than any one person,” she said. “It is a little bit of pain, but it’s going to be for the future of our country, and their children and their grandchildren and generations after them will thank them for their sacrifice right now.
