Argument against Universal Healthcare

What's the argument, exactly? It seems to me that the biggest hurdle would be the transition. The privatization of everything is better for everyone argument doesn't seem to hold water any longer.
Medical care is not subject to the market forces of supply and demand when you have to have it or you will die. It is ugly and inappropriate to leave medical care to a profit-driven economy which makes more money by providing less care at increased prices. Health care is an appropriate function of government as much as road maintenance is. The notion of placing treatment decisions in the hands of someone who's personal salary is dependent upon profit margin performance is insane.
