Of course the term fake news began as a description of the news stories that were created by Balkan computer geeks for the purpose of generating hits (and therefore revenue) on websites. Trump has tried to co-opt the term for virtually any unfavorable coverage of him or his administration.

American Media International knew about and buried the Stormy Daniels story this fall. Now we found out that a reporter at Fox had the story as well, but Fox buried it. So they deliberately buried information that was germaine to voters in the election.

The reporter at Fox is appealing to Rupert Murdoch to lift her NDA with respect to the incident.

how was that story "germaine"?
and by what law does Fox or MSNBC have to report every story they write?
