The Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez phenomenon is noteworthy, both on the left an on the right. How many first-year house members command that type of attention? I definitely have the feeling that if a person with the same views representing the same district happened to be a frumpled socialist nebbish, that person would get about 1/10th the press of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
On the social network's bang/kill/marry scale, I suspect a lot of older GOP men evaluating Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez fluctuate between kill and bang.

Totally shocked Shades! Particularly after my topic about liberals combining ignorance with naïveté. Never thought you would rise to be a poster child in my defense.
The video is entirely about this young, “toothy”, idiotic, cheerleader with absolutely no accomplishment in her life, other than telling anyone who would listen, that everyone deserves “free things from the govt” without working!! I get the fact that it sells well to most here - telling about my advice for some intellectual maintenance cap ex investment here!
But seriously, if her resolution on her Green New Deal (“GND”) had any compelling merit amongst the America voters, why did all the Democrats not vote for it? Because all liberals love to get their face (and mouth) in the press until they actually have to go on record. That would have raised the entire issue of cost and impact on Americans economy and lifestyle.
And that tough to figure out Shades if you abandoned your ignorance and naïveté.
I would welcome your debate on this issue (or that from anyone else here) if you eliminate your bias on my Queue issue. But your huge and obvious bias is a huge drag on this board in, and of, itself. An equity evalution of this place for your consideration. Even if you have know clue what that means.

Only Shades can make naïve accusations about a poster he shows outright bias against, calls him out personally, and now can’t find time to respectfully respond. But he does exactly what I’ve demonstrated above is a socialistic bias against me because I have a track record of being correct here! “Que paso Shades - no juevos?”

The page, announcing an 8:30 a.m. launch on Feb. 7, is now gone, and a top adviser suggested Friday it was actually authored and distributed by the GOP.
By the afternoon of Feb. 7, Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., removed the document from her website without explanation but following backlash and even ridicule over the radical plans outlined within it, including a call to "eliminate emissions from cows or air travel" — which would functionally ban the latter — and to provide “economic security for all who are unable or unwilling to work.”
I think that was probably a nod to Universal Basic Income.
