Trump mentions Wikileaks 141 times: suddenly forgets it all

Here is a link to a compilation video in which Trump mentions Wikileaks no less that 141 times during his final month of campaigning. He really liked that site ...

https://youtu.be/H26hVPoCO-o

"Wow, I love reading those Wikileaks ..."

Now Julian Assange (founder of Wikileaks) has lost the asylum that Ecuador had given him in its London embassy, where he had been holed up for several years. He has been arrested, and the US is seeking extradition. A reporter asks Trump:

"Do you still love Wikileaks?"

To which he replies:

"I know nothing about Wikileaks, it's not my thing."

What do you think people? Is Trump suffering from severe mental impairment affecting his memory, or is he just a hypocrite and a liar?

2010.

"I think it's disgraceful, I think there should be like death penalty or something," Trump said during the quick exchange uncovered online by CNN's KFile.

Poor Mr. Assange. I guess this is what one gets for telling the truth about the wrong people.

Maybe someday the story can finally be told about how Julian Assange, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump saved Western Civilization.

Assange was arrested for jumping bail on an arrest warrant for rape in Sweden. If Assange had told the truth about the wrong people while living in Britain, he would have died from Nerve Agent 234.

Clinton was a horrible candidate, that's why she lost in certain key states. Trump, if you remember, successfully lied about being a populist and being anti-war. That's what the people wanted to hear in the key states like Pennsylvania and Michigan and were suckered into believing that Trump would follow through on his campaign rhetoric. Clinton was an unabashed neocon and loved NAFTA, a bill that sent midwestern jobs overseas. Assange simply told the truth about how Clinton and the DNC rigged the election against Sanders. He also told the truth about US war crimes in Iraq and now will probably be tortured by a Trump administration that wants to get the Russia label off of his back.

Only the hypocrite and liar parts are easily proven without the need for a reliably supervised memory test (the last part would be strongly objected to by Trump's lawyers, the Republican members of Congress, and the Kremlin).

Like when he said about ISIS I would bomb the crap out of them? That kind of anti-war? I think you're mistaking bone spurs for pacifism.

Hillary Clinton, a former Senator and Secretary of State, may have been a 'horrible' candidate, but she was nevertheless qualified.

Imagine if the situation was reversed: Imagine if Russia hacked Trump's taxes and released them before the election. Imagine if Bill and Hill were tight with David Pecker, Publisher of the Enquirer, and all of the blackmail information about Stormy Daniels, Karen McDougal (and God knows who else) was timed to be released 10 days before the election. The election would be remembered as an entirely different story. It would be the story of the first female President taking down a corrupt chauvinist pig who screwed porn stars and Playmates and then bribed them to keep quiet.

He's an idiot and an asshole. That's the nice way of saying it, anyway.

I do think there is a chance that you may have a point there ...

To clarify, the issue in this thread is not whether Mr Assange is a man one would like to date one's daughter, or whether he should have jumped bail (probably not, in both cases), or whether Clinton was the best possible Democratic candidate, but Trump's self-serving perfidy in saying 141 times how great Wikileaks was when he was standing for President, followed by now denying that he knows anything about it.

Worse, he thinks that lying outright like this will not do him much political harm ... and he may well be right.
