Re: Flynn Walks
The FBI knew Flynn was not guilty of anything when they laid a trap for him. EAllusion was closer to the truth at the time when he said don't talk to the FBI without your lawyer even if you know you did nothing wrong. This a good example of why and good advice for anyone in the post constitutional age of criminalizing political opinion.
Now we must hold the deep state accountable. It's not enough just to drop the charges.

More idiotic assertions that have been debunked. Go back to your bubble.ajax18 wrote: ↑Fri May 08, 2020 12:52 amThe FBI knew Flynn was not guilty of anything when they laid a trap for him. Flynn has to sell his house just to pay the legal fees for this political witch hunt. Justice will be served when Comey's pension is confiscated to make Flynn whole again.

Re: Flynn Walks
I had heard about the FBI report that was given to Flynn's attorneys showing potential issues that certainly called into question their motives and handling of the case.
It's a tough one. On the one hand, it's Flynn and he is slimy AF. OTOH, I tend to be a bit understanding of obviously guilty people getting set free on technicalities when procedural malfeasence and investigative bias are involves. It's the price a society plays for protecting citizens from abuses of justice.
The real issue is how it then undermines trust in the justice system and throws open the door for more retaliatory abuses rather than acts as a corrective.

Case in point. Nothing Ajax says here is really about making society better. It's just a chance to hit back when he thinks one of his took a shot from the other side.

Re: Flynn Walks
Remember when it wasn't clear if Flynn was going to roll on Trump (he ultimately didn't), so the Trump crew spent their time distancing themselves from him, dismissing him an Obama official, and trying to put a fence between his acknowledged malfeasance and the Trump admin? Good times. The real question is if Ajax does. Either answer is bad.

Re: Flynn Walks
Anyway, Barr really, really needs to be in prison. Country's probably too far gone for that to happen, but "very serious person" takes who got the vapors at the very thought are looking worse by the minute.

Thanks for that, EAllusion. I appreciate the information.

Tic toc Jim Comey. Bull Durham is coming. The pendulum is swinging the other way.
