During civil unrest we have three groups of people on one side.

1. Protesters/Demonstrators - These represent the largest group by far. They're marching in peace, demonstrating to bring awareness about social injustice. They include tens of millions of supporters who protest in their own social sphere, but not in the streets (like me).

2. Rioters - These are basically protesters who are too emotionally caught up in the cause, and they have no interest in being quiet about it. Rioting crosses the line of legality when private property is destroyed. Only a tiny minority of people have been engaged in this activity.

3. Looters - These are criminals who exist with or without protests. They're making more of a presence by taking advantage of the protests, using them for cover so they can commit crimes. This reminds of a scene from Die Hard II, when the entire town began looting when they realized the cops were busy trying to prevent a bomb from going off in all the schools.

Now for those who are hell bent on being indifferent to the BLM cause, it is the most useful tactic to pretend there is no distinction here.

So, if things weren't bad enough. Now we have a fourth group of people on the other side.

4. Counter-protesters - these are typically Trump supporters who organize online via outfits like Proud Boys, various Motorcycle "Prayer Patriot" gangs, 3%ers, etc. Their presence makes an already volatile situation much worse because they're marching among the demonstrators with assault weapons and firing paint balls/pepper spray.

Nothing good has ever come from the fourth group inserting themselves into the mix. All that has happened is violence escalates and more people die.

The fifth and final group includes the police.

5. Just when you think the riots have calmed down, another black person is murdered by the cops and the rioting escalates to another level.

It doesn't take expert problem solvers to understand where the problem begins and how it can be resolved.

Focusing on the tiny minority of looters and making light of the actual cause of the social unrest isn't helping anyone other than those idiots in group #4 and the cops in group #5 who continue to beat and murder black people with impunity.

BREAKING: A senior official inside of the Department of Homeland Security has filed a whistleblower report stating that he was inappropriately ordered to "modify" a threat assessment, particularly "the section on White Supremacy" to make "the threat appear less severe," and "include information on the prominence of violent 'left-wing' groups."

A conservative white supremacist from Texas drove to protests for George Floyd in Minneapolis, fired 13 shots from an AK-47 into the police station, pretending to be a protestor.

People blamed Black Lives Matter. Or ANTIFA.

It was a white conservative domestic terrorist.
