WTH?

They chose him to lead the pandemic task force because he was the most eminently qualified person on the planet to do so. But they stopped listening to him two months ago (the last time Fauci said he's been asked to brief them) and have now chosen to discredit him using comments he made months ago out of context, which were based on the best data available at the time.

Holy “F” this administration is pathetically corrupt. The only real question is how many American lives are they willing to sacrifice at the Altar of Trump's Re-election?

The most hilarious thing about this is them saying he can't be trusted citing times he said things that are no longer accurate.

Based on that metric, Trump should have been ousted from public life years ago. When is he ever right? As I've said before, any time Trump speaks, you have to decide if he's lying like an asshole or wrong like a moron.

This White House is the definition of idiotic. The fact that he still has support proves way too many Americans are dumb as a rock.

According to one thing I read, Fauci has an approval rating of 76% so Trump can kindly go screw himself. While Trump is a stranger to ethics, Fauci oozes them out of every pore and tells it straight up. Trump lives in fear of Fauci because Fauci interferes with Trump's campaign spin fantasies and there's not a damn thing Trump can do to discredit him because he has nothing to compete with.

And, this that CNN apparently put out today is true and factually accurate on multiple levels. I watch these numbers daily like it's my job. Now the SG is coming out trying to encourage people to think on their feet and wear masks. Basically ignore the President.

Does Trump even know that we can SEE the stats on a daily basis? The man is so far out of step with reality (particularly in the area of self awareness) that only those who don't bother to fact check are still in his corner because they apparently want to believe in and are comfortable with the delusions he's trying to peddle off on the American public.

Yep, you could rightly say that now. The man is willing to throw our children and their teachers on the tracks of his self-made runaway train. Then again, he had no trouble putting children in cages so we shouldn't be surprised about that.

In the case of schools re-opening, my money is on the integrity of teachers not willing to put children at risk. I've thought about this quite a lot since I have occasion to at least weekly pass by the school I ran. I know for a solid fact, that if the owners/board of the program were to tell me (as director) that I had to open the school in late August...I would walk. No question about it.

Every time you are in a classroom of students, you are in the classroom with their siblings, parents, relatives, friends, and everyone else they come in contact with. Trump and stupid DeVos aren't remotely aware of that and the potential for spread of the virus. If the flu or chicken pox can shoot through a school in a couple of weeks causing widespread absenteeism, the virus can go that much faster.

Sorry, went off on a tangent there. I think about this a lot.

I saw the headline from CNN and I was surprised by her use of the word 'crap', which is not a word you normally hear on CNN. I think it speaks to the frustration and rage that people feel watching the President. After 3 ½ years of prevarications, exaggerations, deceptions, fibs, fabrications, fictions and falsehoods, I think Roget himself would give up and just say crap.
