Well you've obviously never been hugged, which explains why you think it is so abnormal for old public figures to embrace the public. Of course, only when it is Biden. Obama -- serious and intellectual -- delivered a complex constitutional lecture on primetime television during the virtual Democratic National Convention. He summoned historic sweep, encompassing the Founders, the Civil Rights Movement, America's immigrant heritage and young Americans he called to action today to save their freedoms just as their ancestors had done every time the country's promise was imperiled.

Trump meanwhile, back at the White House, was rage-tweeting in real time in all-caps, flinging wild accusations and lies that, if anything, provided contemporaneous evidence of his predecessor's somber warnings.

Tragically, Trump's loyal base will reveal their own irrationality, despite his irrational and dishonest rage-tweeting and lies, by doubling down on their support for him - as will be shortly confirmed as soon as subby and/or ajax respond to this post!

I don't think Trump's base will be dazzled by the list, though. They're dazzled by his money, but not this 'Lib' money. There are even something like 7 real estate billionaires and a couple of casino billionaires, to boot. But I don't think that'll matter to the Trump base.
