This is a thread dedicated to calling Trump supporters idiots. I wanted this so I had a place to go to get it out of my system for the day. I made it for myself, but feel free to use it if you need to.
How stupid does one need to be to be a Trump supporter? Stupid enough to go to a Trump rally, I guess.

Do they really need to go to a rally? Couldn't they simply post some conspiracy gibberish on a message board?
The one thing that does seem surprising about Trump supporters is that they have never caught on to how badly Trump performs his con-artist schtick. A good con-artist would not tell as many outrageous lies. What lies they told would be clever. Trump presents a textbook case of a pathological liar, and yet his supporters lack the discernment to detect this or even worse, the moral fortitude to even care.

This is one of the most alarming things about Trump and his hardcore base. He has not the slightest hesitation to lie or make up things, whenever he thinks it would benefit him, and sometimes even in cases where the truth would actually have served him better. Some of his base are simply too clueless or ill informed to realize the extent and frequency of his lies, and the rest of them apparently regard his incessant lying as merely a defiant and even admirable exercise of his first amendment rights to say whatever he wants to say.

How much more stupid do you have to be to leave your native country to come to a country where Trump is president.
I always chuckled at the Latinos in my mission who would spend hours cursing the US, captialism, and the racist horrors they perceived through our left wing media to exist in the US. Then I'd ask if they had ever been the US? No but I would love to go they would reply. I guess it's hard to get away from immoral racist, police supporting, gun carrying, religious people when they're the only ones in the world who can create a country with the economic opportunity you want. Maduro isn't racist nor Fidel Castro. They're also extreme democratic socialists. Would you like to live there?

For sure, that would say it all. I was just thinking that if someone goes to all the effort to go see him at a rally, let alone brave a pandemic to do it, they have to be pretty fu-cking dumb (if the Trump support itself wasn't enough of a clue).

Yeah. He's the most obvious liar I think I've ever seen, which is why it's always been a mystery that so many people follow him.
Trump has taught me that people are generally a lot dumber than I gave them credit.
