Right Wingers disingenuously try to attribute the downsides of urban living to "Leftists." Bigger cities typically have more crime.

Well I watched some. San Francisco has made some radical and to my mind very poorly thought out moves to reduce incarceration. A progressive view is described as thinking that people who are social victims should not be punished for property crimes. Not living in San Fransisco I am not familiar with people advocating this. It clearly needs to be rethought.

I decided to watch it to the end. The mayor is pushing to change policy, good. Stossel observes government should protect society from theft and violence. That is a reasonable observation, not much of a surprise. Then he has to add a dig from his usual playbook. He states progressives always promote abdication of personal responsibility.
I do not think so. Perhaps some extremes at some times have done this.
