Well, Dr. Shades, that is a great question. I started this thread to avoid having a derail from this comment and to make a snarky observation that the probability of a DiscussMormonism thread being about, or mentioning, Daniel Peterson is more certain with every additional comment. I merely achieved the ultimate rule of the board in a single post.

We can call it Scratch's Law or Binger's Law or something like that. It is a ripoff of Godwin, obviously.

The adage asserting that as a discussion grows longer (regardless of topic or scope), the probability of a mention of Daniel C. Peterson approaches 1. Or, the longer the discussion, the more likely a Daniel C. Peterson mention becomes, and with long enough discussions, it is a certainty.
