Germans are all ‘PROGRESSIVES!’ now, too?
Germany imports 77% of its oil. Less than a third of what it imports comes from Russia.
Natural gas represents 25% of Germany’s total primary energy consumption. A third of that is from Russia.
Although they need it now to maintain economic stability, Germany will never be ‘totally dependent’ on Russian energy. Trump was wrong then, and will remain wrong.
‘PROGRESSIVES!’ have nothing to do with this. Sorry to disappoint you. Anyway, it’s usually the ‘PROGRESSIVES!’ that generally advocate for non-fossil fuel solutions. If anything, they’re right about this situation.
