Senator Krysten Sinema, a former Mormon and graduate of BYU, decides to ditch the liberal cult known as the Democrat party, and other members of the liberal cult are outraged by her decision. The similarities between the liberal cult wing of the Democrat party and Mormonism's cult-like traits astound me. Dissent is viewed as a sin, and either in the liberal or the Mormon cults, the attacks begin as soon as you don't agree with the cult narrative and don't stop until you do.

This video shows atleast a half dozen liberal cult members attacking Senator Sinema over her decision to depart the liberal cult. Can someone please explain how the liberal cult narrative is different from the Mormon cult narrative? Both cults use fear to keep members in line.

The senator may have seen the similarities between liberalism and Mormonism's cult-like characteristics and made the same decision to leave the liberal cult as she did the Mormon cult. Both liberalism and Mormonism worn their followers that the end is near and that only their particular brand of belief can save them from ruin. Liberalism has global warming and the burning of the earth, while Mormonism has the latter days and the burning of the earth. No matter how you look at it, members are coerced into conformity by fear.

I think Sinema's political instincts told her she was lucky to be elected in Arizona. Since that time Arizona has proved itself to be more purple and Sinema realized her butthead behavior with Democrats meant she could not survive a primary election. She now believes that casting her lot with Independents will lead to a continued political future.

Thank goodness she has not cast her lot with the first candidate to serve from the Allenwood Federal Penitentiary, whose incarceration should be grounds for terminating both the Constitution and the law of gravity.

Liberalism, by definition, is a political and social philosophy that promotes individual rights, civil liberties, democracy, and free enterprise. Does Mormonism, as a system unto itself, promote individual rights, civil liberties, democracy, and free enterprise? Is there an actual comparison there as philosophical sets?
