Donald Trump and Joe Biden's Very Different Christmas Messages

While Biden sent more traditional festive greetings and well wishes from him and the first lady on Christmas Day, Trump instead spent December 25 airing a number of grievances, continuing to post false claims about the 2020 election, and even call the U.S. a "failing nation."

In a tweet from his personal account, Biden tweeted a message of love and unity, as one might expect from a president, on Christmas Day.

"Jill and I wish you a very Merry Christmas. We hope you and your loved ones are surrounded by love, happiness, and cheer this holiday season," Biden said.

In a follow up tweet sent via the official President Twitter account, Biden added: "From the entire Biden family to yours: Merry Christmas, America."

The president also posted a photo of him and Jill Biden on a call with emergency workers on Christmas Day afternoon. "This Christmas, Jill and I were honored to thank a few brave men and women in uniform for their sacrifices this time of year," Biden wrote.

"They're away from their families to protect us. And they have the thanks of a grateful, indebted president."

By contrast, Trump chose to spend Christmas Day posting on Truth Social attacking Biden, claiming the "Radical Left Democrats" are "truly seeking to DESTROY AMERICA!!!" and defend his time as president and his November midterm endorsements.

Trump made his Christmas greeting mostly about himself, his grievances and his claimed "victimhood."

And therein lies the difference.

Love and unity only applies to those who voted for Biden. Anyone who questions critical race theory, open borders, boys in skirts raping their daughters in the girls bathroom, anyone who voted for Trump he'd imprison and bring down the full weight of the justice department upon them for anything he could possibly find. Merrick Garland considers and lists his political opponents as domestic terrorists. If you voted for Trump, you're an enemy of the state and a threat to democracy. Where's the love and unity in that? Democrats would do better to adopt policies similar to Lincoln after the Civil war. But that will never happen. They're just not on Licoln's level.

There is no reasonable doubt about the well-established fact that Trump is, by far, the most pathologically dishonest President this country has ever had! You mean this Truth social on which Former President Donald Trump spent his Christmas Day posting on social media about his grievances and pushing false claims about the 2020 Election.? Telling lie after baseless lie about how the election was stolen from him, and including how Pence had the power and authority to singlehandedly overturn the election and reinstate Trump as President if only he had not been too cowardly to use it?

In comparison, Biden kept his December 25 social media posts brief, tweeting: "Jill and I wish you a very Merry Christmas. We hope you and your loved ones are surrounded by love, happiness, and cheer this holiday season."

Do you seriously still believe the nonsense Trump spits out daily on Truth Central or that he is a paragon of virtue and truth?!? If so, I feel sorry for you!

ETA: Your posts repeatedly remind us that there really is a such thing as Trump derangement syndrome, but it is the supporters of Trump who are afflicted with it -- not his opponents!
