If you’re invested enough to ‘see what happens’ it means there’s an energy sink going into an unproductive outcome. Your energy is directed toward a fantasy and that’s unhealthy for both parties.

I am 100% sure she was initially interested in me and I am not completely certain that she lost all interest. Why can't we be friends?

I made some mistakes, I waited too long to text her after she gave me her number. I get nervous when she's around.

By deleting her deets and moving on, DT is able to focus his energy into productive endeavors that’ll move him toward his goals, whatever they are.

I would like to date someone eventually. At my age (late twenties) the dating pool is smaller and will only get smaller with time.
