dangerous to non-diabetic people.

A new study concludes that Metformin doesn't increase longevity.
"Over a median of 21 years...Compared with placebo, metformin did not influence mortality from all causes"
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34697033/

Another study concludes that Metformin blunts the positive effects of exercise.
"Metformin attenuated the increase in VO2max"
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6351883/

And another one concludes that Metforming can cause ED
"In men with T2DM, 3-month metformin therapy can reduce testosterone levels"
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/35002984/

Lol. Glad they did a study to find out that a drug with widespread pituitary inhibitory effects, decreases liver glucose reserves and has anorexic effects in most people, could have adverse impacts on exercise outcomes.

It's almost as if things like testosterone, growth hormone, energy reserves, and caloric intake play a role in exercise.

Almost.
