It's going to take a
flame thrower to light all the candles on your cake this year.
Happy Birthday my dear old friend of 24 years!
And I mean old.
Like really, really, old.
Older than old.
Older than dirt.
Older than the dirt
under the dirt.
Possibly older than the actual core of the Earth.
Which we all know is
flat.

Thanks for all the birthday greetings, everyone. I'm sorry I missed seeing this thread until now. I have been preoccupied with other things lately. One of the funniest birthday greetings I ever got was from one of my daughters. She sent me a multi-page birthday card with a cute little dog on the front page, with a caption that said, "my dog is going to tap out your age with his paws." It went on for page after page showing the dog tap, tap, tapping, and apparently getting more and more tired, until the last page showing the dog lying belly up and motionless, with the angry caption "You killed my dog!"
