Straight people have the right to take photos of themselves and their partners looking pleased. Has anybody denied that?
So do gay people, of course. But unlike straight people, they have to point this out rather firmly and clearly from time to time, since some people seem to think that gay people do not have the right to take photos of themselves and their partners looking pleased.

The language of rights is at times indispensable. But, sadly, in our non-ideal world people may have rights that conflict with those of others in some situations. Without the practice of kindness, we can end up simply shouting at one another, or worse.

If LGBT-ETC-ETC can be "proud", straights can be "proud." Everyone can be proud. All for it.
P.S. If no hetero people existed, you wouldn't exist. Remember to thank the hetero sex that procreated you.
