Judge Aileen Cannon has dismissed Trump's stolen documents case. While the 11th Circuit Court could remove Cannon, I suspect they will stand down knowing the Trump Supreme Court would have Cannon's back.

Or, they could stand down because they don't have a case, the lawfare didn't work, and the public gives not a cuff all about it.

Remove Cannon? WTF?

This is just another disgusting example of extreme partisanship in our legal system. Smith and the DOJ will appeal and it will end up in Clarence Thomas's lap. Hopefully, there will be enough honor left in Supreme Court to do what is right.

Appeal what? A fakeass so-called pretend Special Counsel? You think they can win that appeal? And why bother appealing? Just trash Smith, send his ass back to Amsterdam or wherever, and go to congress.

Prior to, the rumblings I heard were the prosecution hoped she'd act quickly since Thomas took the opportunity to sign his view on the matter so they could get on to appeals. It doesn't excuse Cannon's divergent ruling from precedent but it is probably best in the long term that she acted so the case can move on.

Absolutely.

This is my sense of it, too.

they will win the appeal easily. but the Supreme Court will knock it down IF he becomes president, and if he loses, it's 50-50, they may throw him under the bus for optics.

On this one I'm like, "meh." That's me, meh. I haven't followed it since Cannon got the case. Haven't followed any of his cases actually. May be a net positive, as in terms of optics, he's looking less like the underdog.

The application of the law is now, in Trumpese, "lawfare." Remember, legal action using our system of laws is no different from warfare in the Trumpian mind.

Yeah, remove Cannon. Her decisions have been so poor specifically to the benefit of Trump that it is obvious she has sacrificed her integrity to serve him like a client.

It is so telling that she waited for one corrupt Supreme Court justice (Thomas) to throw her a bone out of the blue (in a case that had absolutely nothing to do with the documents issue) so she could time her lifeline to Trump right before he secured the nomination for his party.

You would think the whole thing was a movie script it was so tightly packaged and its timing so perfect for Trump.

Cool, can you contribute to that motion to have her removed? I would say to those who can make that motion, leap right on out there, don't let nothing but fear and common sense hold you back, froggy. I don't think anyone gives a crap if you or Smith tried that. Yeah. Go for it. Maybe tell the removers that lots of people on the internet don't like the consequences and that they too know she is wrong. Appeals are part of the process, file it. Do it. And if removing judges is part of it, great. Do that too.

Oh... oh, one more thing. The order was about 90 pages I think. Which page had the wrong part that will get reversed or sent back down?

OK, bigot boy. Just keep right up with your idiotic, senseless rambling. Unlike you, it seems, I think expertise means something, not like that dude who sells real estate and pretends to be a tough boss on tv and ran for president without reading the Constitution.
