Spooky Season is almost upon us

Hello Folks!

I don't know what's up with me but last year and now this one apparently I'm getting into the Spooky Season vibe around here. Last year I bought a little witch folkart doll and a black rocker for her and some terracotta jack o lanterns. As usual did the front flower bed in real pumpkins and gourds (decorate with those baby boo pumpkins in the house) and of course, a Scarecrow. Oh and there is the Salem Broom CO. T shirt that I wore proudly during October.

This years, um "gathering", includes a spooky jack o lantern art print, cornstalks I got free on Buy Nothing from a neighbor's garden they were cleaning out, black bat shapes to put on the wall over the garden bed, and a pumpkin head doll. I'm also making cinnamon spice dough pumpkins.

No one knows why...

Not one single person can see our house from the street.
We get zero trick or treaters out here. Never have.
We don't eat Halloween candy.

Do you all decorate or dress up for Halloween?
Do you throw a spooky party?
Do you get tons of trick or treaters at your house?
Does you neighborhood go all out for it?

Like do you have those huge inflatable Ghosties and Frankensteins? Do you have ghosts hanging from your trees? (Oh no another idea!)
Skeletons and tombstones in the yard?

Do you even care about Halloween? I sure didn't until last year.

No one knows why...

Here's my new friend Jack. Be sure to check out the bonus question below! Look, it's right under Jack!

BONUS QUESTION: What was Halloween like when you were a child?

I want to get a couple of those 12 ft skeletons, but everywhere I look they’re sold out. I even thought I had an ‘inside guy’ at Home Depot who’d set aside a couple when they got a shipment in, but that plan fizzled. We almost ordered them online , but the extra $50 on top of their pricing seemed exorbitant. But, yes, to your question we usually put something up, even if it’s just some humbled window decor.

Did you try Costco or Sams? Probably...
