Keep the Sabbath Day Holy-Watch Football!

Post by Jesse Pinkman »

Rather than Church, my favorite pastime on Sundays is to watch the NFL.

It’s a great way to spend the day off—my husband and I order food in and watch our teams.

I’m hoping the 49ers do better tonight.

I have a hard time remembering what having only a one day weekend was like. It is so cool to actually feel like a normal human.

Next Sunday, my Grandson turns 6, and we’re having a family birthday party. What a concept! Actually putting family over Church.

One of the most ingratiating things I felt when I was active was feeling like I had a second full time job. Thoughts?

My wife and I were just talking about this yesterday. We feel nothing but dread at the thought of having to spend Sundays suffering fools.

Today? Took a Sunday through the countryside, smoked a coupla cigars, football has been on all day, and we’ve been noshing treats because we do what we want. Leaving that cult was truly a new lease on life.

Being a resident of Washington state I am not enjoying Seattle's performance so far. It did not look promising for the second half.

Let’s hope they can make up for it in the second half.

We’re watching the Commanders and the Bears. Commanders doing well so far.

I have two jobs. I am a PM in construction, but my main career path is managing fantasy football teams. I actually gross a few hundred dollars a year doing this. But I can assure you you can do both, go to church and be a avid football fan if you are a evangelical in that most evangelical churches, at least the larger ones, have 3 or 4 services....so here on the west coast one can navigate the 10:00 am games with the 1:00 pm games. The hard part is is sneaking in the BBQ. # go Rams.

So, lets see, there are chapel Mormons, internet Mormons, cafeteria Mormons, Utah Mormons. I belonged to the Non-Utah Mormons group - a.k.a. F-it, I'm going golfing after church - Mormons.
