I had previously suspected that one of reasons (if not the major reason) many voters turned away from the Democrat ticket in the last general election was they had backed away from some of their more progressive policies of which an increasing majority of Americans approved. According to Kyle Kulinski, a recent, respected poll showed that the number one reason why voters turned away from Kamala Harris was her failure to break from Biden's unrelenting support of Israel, despite their continuing brutal and arguably genocidal attack on the Gaza Palestinians.

In addition to the above reason, was the failure to pass the Buy Back Better Act, which had wide popular support, and other popularly supported measures proposed by Democrats.
I voted for Kamala Harris anyway, despite my dismay over break with Biden over this, because I had no doubt that things would get even worse for, not only Gazans, but for us with Trump in charge, rather than Kamala Harris. Recent events have only amplified those concerns.
