20 ICE goons wearing masks to hide their identity arrested the mayor of Newark and even threatened members of Congress who were present just for disagreeing with and protesting Trump's draconian policies. Why were they wearing masks? Even Hitler's Gestapo didn't wear masks when they arrested people who dared to oppose his atrocities! Is there still any room for serious doubt about Trump's tyrannical and antidemocracy ambitions?
Some comments from the comments section:
Not even the Gestapo wore masks. These cowards should all be exposed.
I always assumed any law officer was required to identify themselves, so why the masks? and refusal to show ID? Wouldn't be that they may be identified as deputised members of the proud boys.
I'm pretty sure some of these guys are not even law enforcement but militia thugs wearing police gear. Since when do police wear multicam plate carriers?
I feel because they know what they are doing is wrong and so they hide their face as to try and keep their anonymity. What criminals do when they're robbing that mom and pop store.
Stop calling them ICE. Call them Trump's gestapo.
Stephen Miller needs to be in handcuffs NOW!
Take Trump's immunity away. Who ever voted or allowed this idiot to have immunity should go to prison. Take that immunity away NOW
This is it. What are we waiting for, Trump has to be removed now.
As a Canadian who formerly respected the U.S. It is utterly shocking to see how far your democracy has fallen into the fascist pit. Geheimestatzpolizei and all.
20 cowards to arrest one man!
So much for being the land of the free. Welcome to the fascist United States.
Even more disturbing for me from the EU is that there are still 38% of Americans who support Trump. How is this possible?
No precept or claim is more suspect or more likely to be false than one that can only be supported by invoking the claim of Divine authority for it--no matter who or what claims such authority.
I will be really surprised if we manage to get out of this with any kind of Constitutional republic left. This has racist police state written all over it. We had a wonderful Republic, and Republicans embraced corrupt liars who told them lies about our envy of the world Republic. Now they have dragged us down into the sewer with the other corrupt authoritarian regimes.
"I have learned with what evils tyranny infects a state. For it frustrates all the virtues, robs freedom of its lofty mood, and opens a school of fawning and terror, inasmuch as it leaves matters not to the wisdom of the laws, but to the angry whim of those who are in authority.”
Mitt Romney is looking better and better all the time, isn't he?
To save the GOP from itself, maybe. It definitely would have been nice to see him defeat Trump in the 2015 primary.

Converting America into a third-world country is never an easy task. Look how long it will take to get Americans completely vaccine-free, but appointing a non-physician as Surgeon General is a start in the right direction. Look how successful the LDS Church has been by not having any theologians on its Board of Directors.

Ensign Peak shows where this model of “Christian” leadership goes. A huge, unproductive pile of wealth for wealth’s sake.

But it is completely tax-free and continues to grow. Could a bunch of theologians pull that off, or is it better in the providence of hard-nosed businessmen? I think theologians would want to squander that wealth on "do-gooder" projects.
