Epstein files: strangest gridlock ever?

I watched the Netflix series a few years ago when it came out, aside from that, I don't know much. Trump was in deep with Epstein during his glory days, and he rewarded Alexander Acosta, who went as light as possible on Epstein as DA, to secretary of labor during his first presidency. The Department of Labor has an interesting role in industries related to Epstein's fav, as it investigates human trafficking and black markets in general. A great guy to have around who will look the other way. Trump himself has announced we don't want to release the files too soon because lots of fake stuff them (lol).

What on earth then, is the religious right and MAGA's intense fascination with the Epstein files? A democrat congressman recently complained about releasing the files but nobody has called for it louder than Laura Loomer and Steve Bannon. Pam Bondi is even getting berated by MAGA now.

There are armies of MAGA and QAnon true believers among the public who have thwarted actual real efforts to pursue crimes against children in their mindless LARPing. That QAnon guy in my neighborhood, who moved out a few years ago, explained to me to my face that Lady Gaga and her liberal friends eat children during their big parties. I realize, among those who vote Trump, that this a huge belief.

But do Bannon and Loomer and Marjorie Taylor-Greene actually believe it themselves? To the point that they think Bondi and Patel, the most loyalist picks for their positions in American history, are holding back for any other reason than Trump himself has insisted on it?

It seems to me there are three main possibilities: 1) they really believe in a grand conspiracy of liberals and pop stars and the deep state that ended with Epstein's execution. 2) they don't believe it but they must play their role because the fan base is pushing them so hard 3) It's similar to Trump asking Zelensky to produce dirt on Hunter Biden. Fabricate a bunch of evidence. Sure, any guilt by their boss must be covered up, but that's not what they are asking for, they aren't asking to see a bunch of files that show Trump isn't guilty, they want a conspiracy web fabricated that will take out dozens of democrat leaders and woke Hollywood figures. And if they don't get that, then the cover up persists. They are as bad as UFO crowd that will never rest until either a real or a fake flying saucer is pulled out of a warehouse for inspection by the public.

I don't have any belief that one person is more guilty than another in this matter. For all I know, Stephan Hawking and Bill Clinton could be as or more guilty than Trump. However, I do believe that Epstein had a huge vested interest to bring down as many powerful people as possible in order to protect his own adventures. As a Mormon analogy: he's like your jack Mormon friend who takes you to dinner and insists on paying, he's going to get smashed, but c'mon, at least have just one beer with him yourself?

I'd suspect a number of Epstein's associates are guilty of something bad enough to end a political career in a world of normal politics. I have no guesses who is more guilty than another in terms of right vs. left. I find it a huge gamble by anyone on either side pushing it for political purposes, believing only their opponents are the ones who will be destroyed by it.

I bet both Bannon and Loomer would love to see the material in the Epstein files blow everything up. They calculate that they probably don't have anything to lose if both Clinton and Trump are shown to be the teen-raping turds they probably are. The big difference between Clinton and Trump on this score is that Clinton probably didn't have to slap girls around to make them submit, but that doesn't mean he was necessarily a respecter of "no means no," and, in fact, I am doubtful he would have been, given his track record.

Trump and his mob of cult members would just call evidence against him fake anyways, and the cult would undoubtedly buy it. He is committing crimes all over the place in plain sight, and everyone knows that he has had a jones for his own daughter for a long time. I just don't think his fans care at all. As far as I can tell, MAGA is a harbor for a motley assortment of criminals, con artists, rapists, and pedophiles. As long as they support Trump, Trump doesn't care who they are or what they have done. It simply does not matter to him.

We have not seen the full Epstein files, in my view, because there is too much in the way of shared culpability among a large number of powerful elites where this is concerned. The problem is not just Trump. It is a big ticking time bomb of kompromat that will not see the light of day for half a century, if there is a light of day to see or anyone who cares anymore. Bill Gates probably slept with teenage girls. I bet Alan Dershowitz probably did too. I don't know any of this for a fact, but imagine if this is true, so many powerful people have compromising information on each other that the end result is that every dangling thread must not be pulled, by mutual agreement, lest the whole ball of yarn collapse, revealing the vile core.

Trump stands out because he was probably a violent rapist of young teen girls. He has been credibly accused of such, and now supposedly the girl he beat and raped is dead by "suicide." I dunno. Living with the teen memory of Trump violently raping you, as she has alleged, may make you want to take your own life.

My right wing friend is crazy of course and never seems to have a rational thought in his head. He is so blind to party that he never seems to remember the MAGA rallies that he goes to. How about disclose it all regardless? Who cares if Trump, Clinton and the rest of the puppets we have as politicians get exposed? Lock them up! How about we get the pedos out of politics regardless how it affects Israel, the most likely Epstein puppet master? He did it probably at the behest of his primary benefactor, Ms. Adelson, a giant supporter of Israel. How about we get the billionaires out of our politics? Both parties are guilty of it. Maybe exposure will have some good results. Let Bannon and Loomer do their thing. If a supposed Hitler lover does a good thing, should we shun it just because of who the person is? Is the messenger more important than the message? Who cares if the devil does evil in other areas. If he gives us something good, let's take it, while keeping a sharp eye on the devil. Or, is narrative more important than whatever good can come? Isn't that how we get controlled? Isn't that the danger of political parties?

My right-wing friend is also irrational but he's never brought up Epstein. I doubt he'd care either way. There is a bizarre loyalty between men of all cultures that even transcends the worst politics. Guys don't rat each other out for their sexual adventures.

I've never said otherwise, I just truly don't understand it. Your answer appears to be that they legitimately want the truth to come out and I'm just being cynical. Thank you for your input, and adding to the possibilities.

Fans of Occam’s Razor might say that Trump rewarded Bondi with the position as a ‘thank you’ for declining to investigate claims of fraud at Trump U, right after Trump gave a $25,000 check to a political action committee associated with Bondi’s re-election campaign.
